Small white rustic wooden cabinet with a single door

This small cabinet had many signs of use. The structure itself was in good condition. This was our restoration process:

1. We cleaned the piece with a cloth and a little soap, then wiped it down with water.

2. We lightly sanded the piece to remove the varnish.

3. We applied several coats of wood stain.

4. We then applied an antique white satin-finish paint.

5. We lightly sanded the mouldings and edges to create a distressed, aged effect.

6. Finally, we applied a coat of matt-finish varnish.
